WCS Run for the Wild: Penguins
We’re proud to work with The Wildlife Conservation Society’s (WCS) Run for the Wild, a 5K Run and Family Fun Run/Walk held at the Bronx Zoo. WCS works around the globe to save wildlife and wild places. Changing climate, overfishing, and habitat loss are some of the factors affecting penguin populations. WCS is committed to ensuring a future for penguins where they live, including Punta Tombo on the coast of Argentina, home to the largest colony of Magellanic penguins in the world.
